When you contact SG Home Designs, here is exactly what happens. First, we schedule a free phone or video consultation to discuss your project goals, timeline, and budget range. This initial call typically takes 15 to 20 minutes and gives both of us a clear picture of whether we are a good fit.
If the project is a match, we schedule an in-home visit within one week. During that visit, we measure the space, take photos, discuss design preferences, and review any inspiration images you have collected. We also check the existing structure for any conditions that could affect the project, such as load-bearing walls, plumbing locations, or electrical panel capacity.
Within 5 to 7 business days after the home visit, you receive a detailed proposal that includes design concepts, a written scope of work, an itemized cost breakdown, and a projected timeline. There is no obligation and no pressure. We want you to have all the information you need to make a confident decision.
From first call to proposal delivery, the entire process takes about two weeks. Most projects begin construction within 4 to 6 weeks of contract signing, depending on permit requirements and material lead times.
